Eleni Manolopoulos is an abstract graphic artist and painter. Since 2019 she has been studying Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts. In addition to studying fine arts art, Manolopoulos is studying Linguistics and Computer Science at the Free University of Berlin. The preoccupation with different programming paradigms, semantics and semiotics and concepts such as recursion, repetition, convention and linearity inform her sign language. She deals with the subject of how signs acquire meaning and how this meaning is constituted. Linguistic signs in her works play with the concepts of concepts of legibility and unambiguity.
